What we we reading

What interesting books have you been reading lately? On my recent trip to the US, i finally purchased The Dinner, a novel by Herman Koch, translated from Dutch. I earlier read the review in The Economist, which was excellent, yet setting the right expectations with their 'read The Dinner and taste the shock'. It was indeed shocking and chilling, and an absolutely can't-put-it-down read.

A very different kind of book I am reading right now is called Waiting for Birdy, by Catherine Newman. Anyone with small children could probably relate to the journey so wittingly described by the author. It's laugh-out-loud funny, smart and moving.

And what's on your book shelf this month? Enjoy your weekend!
